Eating is an integral, daily part of our human existence and is often intertwined with positive and negative emotions around food. It can control us and it can give us pleasure.
Practicing mindful eating allows us to digest our food better AND dive deeper into the underlying emotions that control our thoughts and behavior around food and our body.
You wake up feeling unfulfilled, and sometimes with a truck on your chest.
It feels like groundhog day… wake, eat (or not eat), work, sleep, repeat.
If you had a choice you’d rather stay in bed and not face the day.
Mindlessly scrolling, just to get a break.
Distracted, disconnected.
Overworked and overwhelmed.
You’re frustrated, exhausted, not sure what you’re doing or where you’re going. It all feels overwhelming and dull.
You’re uninspired, bored, and yet always busy.
Meaningless.
Deep down you also know there’s a better way.
There is never a dull moment in your life.
You are doing the best you can.
You’re worthy. You deserve to feel better.
You deserve to feel alive, participating vibrantly in life, and fulfilled!
I’m finding relief in sacred, deliberate, and mindful actions throughout my day and it’s fun. And by fun, I mean letting a piece of velvety, luscious chocolate melt in your mouth!
Often eating is just a means to an end to squash the hunger quickly so we can move on to the next thing on our long to-do list. It has become a mindless task we need to engage in while focusing on what’s next.
Eating, on the other hand, is a way to nourish our body and our soul!
We’re talking about a sacred and mindful act of experiencing the richness of food through all of your senses.
Why? Because there is a plethora of research showing us that mindfulness, meditation, and meaningful activities help us be more intentional in our daily life leading to more…
I invite you to the Sacred Eating Mini-Course where you can become more in tune with your food and the act of eating as well as explore the essence of who you are and what you want.
After spending time with this self-guided course exploring your thoughts and emotions, you will find guilt-free ways of nourishing yourself and reconnecting with the pleasure and sacredness of the foods you are consuming.
What’s Included:

We are going to explore the pleasure of enjoying delicious food with all our senses, leaving guilt and shame aside. With this visceral exploration of food we will learn to tune into the needs of our body.

“Waltraud knows how to lead an amazing workshop. She got us into a calm and joyous frame of mind while we baked a delicious cake together. The whole workshop was such a joyful experience! The cake was excellent and I enjoyed her sharing her knowledge of working with gluten-free ingredients. I forgot how much I loved baking, thanks for the reminder.”
ABout Waltraud
I started meditating when I was pregnant with my first child. During my first pregnancy I juggled a fulltime job, climbing the corporate ladder, finding my place in a new country (USA) and adjusting to the new needs of my pregnant body.
I realized that being mindful and present in the moment brought me back to the joyful and lighthearded time I spent with my grandmother in nature. It helped me be fully present in my body and step out of overwhelm. Meditation and mindfulness became a part of my daily life and I want to extend this gift to you!
Back to our roots…
Back to our true essence…
Back to the days and ways of our grandmothers; remembering that life is beautiful when we learn to stay in the moment and let go of thoughts and beliefs that don’t serve us.
Back to the NOW.
"This is BRILLIANT and so perfect. I already told a few friends about it! I feel your heart in this and it's amazing.!" ~ C. M.
Life is sacred.
Eating is sacred.
Doing it all mindfully and intentional with love is even more sacred.
Nourish yourself with Sacred Eating! That’s magic!
