Being in the kitchen and rhythmically moving and dancing with all the beautiful ingredients I’m using as well as connecting to the women in my life who taught me how to cook and bake connects me to parts of myself that I had lost along the way. 

Pulling the ingredients together to make bread, cakes, and pastry while getting quiet and tuning into our hearts' desires is pure alchemy. It creates the kind of love you can taste and authenticity you can feel!

We’ve all been through the wringer the past few years in one way or another…

And there are a million different ways to nourish yourself, support yourself, tend to yourself as you bring yourself back… or into the next version of yourself.

Alchemy of Baking

I would like to invite you to an online baking workshop where we bake my favorite recipes, explore baking tips and other time tested gluten-free baking secrets as well as take a moment to slow down, get quiet and connect with each other, but also with those lost parts of ourselves that long to be heard… so you can dream into what’s next for you, your health, and your life!

 

What’s on the Menu:

Season 2 live will start in the Fall ‘22!

We will be making gluten-free breads, cakes and cookies together, dive into the Alchemy of gluten-free flour and learn about how to work with various gluten-free dough.

Guided Meditation 

While we bake we will go into a guided meditation to get in touch with the feelings stored in our body and learn to release them. This will be a simple exercise that you can use each time to notice the quiet messages your body sends you during the day to tune in to not only what your family needs but what you need for optimal health so you can keep supporting those around you.

Connection and Sharing

We will have ample time to share our experiences and ask questions along the way. We will also go a bit into the ingredients and why they are so good for our nervous system and mind.

 
 

Imagine sitting on a stool at my kitchen island with other people all passionate and inspired by alchemy, mindful baking, and living a meaningful and healthy life. 

We’ll be on Zoom, but I want it to feel like we’re all together in my kitchen baking and chatting and connecting.

I’ll provide you with a shopping list ahead of time so, if you choose, you can bake in real time with me.

 
 

While our delicious baked goods are in the oven, I’ll guide you through a meditation to regulate your nervous systems and connect you to the food you are preparing even more and then we can all eat!

ABout your instructor

Waltraud started baking as a young teenager. She was inspired by the wonderful cakes, cookies and bread that her mother, grandmother and aunt created using fresh fruit and local ingredients from their garden and countryside of Germany. Baking became a way to tap into her creative side.

She found that the mindful and creative aspects of baking helped her be fully present in her body and step out of overwhelm. It became a welcoming meditative activity for her.

Her baked goods are a welcome addition to any meal. If you are lucky to live nearby you may snag some at a local coffee shop or be the recipient of her tasty gifts.
